The Iowa Wild, AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, held their inaugural Pink in the Rink celebration (this is the team’s first year in the AHL since relocating from Houston). Most AHL teams host Pink in the Rink weekends to help raise money for breast cancer research. But the Wild did something no team has ever done (to my knowledge).

During intermission they turned out all of the lights and had every breast cancer survivor turn on their LED  thundersticks. This is the result.
